THIS WEEK’S PRAYER FOCUS: Please be in prayer for the ministry of the Gospel through Vacation Bible School. Pray that the Lord would give strength, grace, and humility to the VBS volunteers as they minister to the children of our church and our community. Pray that the hearts of many children and their parents will be open to receiving the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
SCRIPTURE MEMORY VERSE FOR JUNE: See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. 1 John 3:1

We are looking forward to the arrival of the new Director of Music Mr. Vince Treadway and his wife Faith. The Treadway’s will arrive during the last week of June and Vince will begin work on July 1, 2010.
Congratulations to Al and Virginia McCormick who celebrated their 68th Wedding Anniversary on June 17, 2010.
We would like to congratulate Neely Nelson and Aaron Nelson for being awarded scholarships by the Scholarship Committee for the 2010-2011 school year.
There will be NO Riptide this evening in preparation for the departure for the Quest Middle School Camp. Students that are attending Quest can come as early as 10:00 pm for the 12:00 am departure.
The Lake Wales Care Center’s Stay-at-Home Work Camp is coming. The first work camp is scheduled to begin on June 27th, 2010.
COMMITTEE MEETINGS THIS WEEK: Membership and Visitation Meeting (Library) Monday at 5:00 PM; Session Meeting (Library) Tuesday at 7:00 PM.
CIRCLE & K-GROUP MEETINGS THIS WEEK: There will be NO K-5 Meeting this month. They will be meeting again on July 18th in the Game Room at 3:00 PM.
